Dear Members and Friends of MFSA:

Please make your plans to attend the Annual Membership Meeting and Industry Update in Birmingham, May 26th, 2010, at 10:00 AM CDT. This Program and Meeting will take place in the Community Room of The Crescent Building, 2311 Highland Avenue South, Birmingham, Alabama 35205, starting at 10:00 AM and concluding at 2:00 PM. Lunch will be served.

In addition to conducting the business of the Association, we will also have industry update and education sessions including the following:

* State of the Industry in the Nation. A panel of experts will discuss developments in the Payday Lending Industry throughout the United States, and what the Industry may look like in coming years.

* State of the Industry in Alabama. We will discuss why no legislation is moving in Alabama.

* Recent Developments in Federal Legislation.

The Membership Meeting will include election of the nine-person Board of Directors of the Modern Financial Services Association of Alabama, and other business to come before the Members. Here is the slate of Directors selected by the Nominating Committee. Additional nominations may be made pursuant to the Bylaws. Only Members will vote and participate in this part of the Program.

There is no cost to MFSA Members in good standing. Non-members are welcomed at the cost of $100.00 for the first representative of each company, and $50.00 for each additional participant from the same company.

The Program and Meeting will provide an invaluable opportunity to advance industry education for key employees. It will also give owners and managers the opportunity to meet others in the industry and organize for the benefit of all.
